The Progression Tail is the all-round stabilizer in the UniFoil lineup — tuned to a neutral foot pressure that works across every discipline and skill level. Evolved from the Shiv tail (the most popular in UniFoil's original 3-pack), the Progression is thinner for added speed and pump efficiency, with pulled-in tips for sharper turn angles. It's the tail Erik designed to match the Progression wings, and it pairs just as well with the Evolution series.
Where the Afterburner is built to speed things up and loosen the feel, the Progression tail is built to balance everything — pump, glide, stability, and turning. It's the tail that makes your foil feel predictable and easy without sacrificing performance. If you're not sure which tail to start with, this is the one.
All sizes ship with a protective cover included. Bolts sold separately.
Progression 13.5" — The performance size. Suits lighter riders and high-performance riding — quicker response, tighter turns, less drag. The go-to for prone surf and riders who want a lively, responsive feel.
Progression 14.5" — More span for added stability and pumpability. Suits heavier riders (80 kg+) or anyone who wants easier pump, more low-end lift from the tail, and a more forgiving feel across conditions. Also adds roughly half a size of effective surface area to your front wing.
