Most 13:1 downwind foils ask you to choose: efficiency or the ability to actually surf the bump when you get to one. The Quest doesn't. It carries the Evolution's foil section forward — the same section riders already love for its easy pitch management and glide — and stretches it into a planform that pumps for days and trims through flat spots with the kind of efficiency you only get at 13:1. The result is a downwind wing that doesn't feel like a downwind wing. It feels like a surf foil that happens to glide forever.

The Quest doesn't start from scratch. It builds on the Evolution foil section, which has earned its reputation in the UniFoil lineup for two things specifically: ease of pitch management and exceptional glide. As you accelerate, the wing stays pitch-neutral through the speed range — no nose-down pull, no fighting the foil into trim. Drop into a bump, lay it over, climb back up the face, and the wing tracks where you point it.

Stretching that section into a 13:1 planform unlocks a different kind of efficiency. Span carries you over flat sections without dumping speed. Pump cycles get longer and quieter. Top-end glide opens up. But the feel underfoot is still UniFoil — connected, predictable, with the same surfability the Evolution rider already knows. This is the rare downwind foil that rewards aggressive riding instead of penalizing it.
