Evolution Aluminum Mast

Evolution Aluminum is the world's first and only aluminum hydrofoil mast with a variable profile section shape, offering the performance of high modulus carbon at less than half the price. The proprietary welded assembly eliminates loose hardware and water ingress common to all other aluminum masts. The highly engineered extrusion is lighter than most solid carbon offerings, and results in a mast that is only 1lb/0.5kg heavier than Cedrus hollow carbon masts. Anodized fade-free gold and with light laser-etched graphics, the mast features stainless steel threads and requires minimal care and maintenance. Available in two distinct models, Evolution Aluminum fills a large gap between Wind and Surf to address new forms of foiling and performance attributes.

Forged:

• 16mm thick piercing region, 120mm constant chord length
• 20mm thickness up high, resulting in the stiffest aluminum mast on the market (stiffer than other 19mm masts, most HM carbon masts)
• Low drag, for better pumping performance and higher top end speeds
• Patented ventilation-resistant design for wing and kite foiling
• 4.5lbs/2kg @ 78cm, 4.8lbs/2.2kg @ 85cm
• All-around, balanced mast at the intersection of Surf and Wind for performance prone, DW, parawing, big wave tow, and wind-powered forms of foiling
• Evolution Adapter Interface: Compatible with all foils using precision machined adapters
• Foil Drive compatible board mount

• Low wetted area, for easier paddle-up starts and pump foiling
• Extreme stiffness for the largest of foils (tested with 2m+ span)
