Designed by Adam Bennetts and Clifford Coetzer in search of the ultimate all-around surf foil, the Vyper 90 was born as a cross between the Vortex and the Hyper—combining the carve and ease of turning of the Vortex with the pump and efficiency of the Hyper.
After many prototypes and countless hours of testing by our top riders, every detail—from wingspan to foil thickness—was refined until the best setup for speed, glide, and performance was chosen. A span wide enough to create lift without feeling sticky in turns. Just enough down-sweep on the tips to loosen the foil up without losing efficiency. Enough thickness to generate lift, without adding unnecessary drag.
