The Evolution 175 is the delineating wing in the Evolution series. Sharing the same characteristics as the smaller Evolutions, the 175 begins to lean harder into efficiency, glide, and pump range over tight carves and radical maneuvers. Carves are a bit more drawn out compared to the Evolution 155, but it remains surprisingly maneuverable for its size.

This wing thrives in knee to chest high waves and downwind bumps. The low end allows the rider to harness minimal energy and maintain flight at slow speeds. That forgiving low-end glide keeps you flying on even the smallest days. The heightened efficiency translates to a low-energy output ride, extending the riding and pumping range and buying time to search for additional waves and downwind swells.

Tuning recommendations
Tail size:
• 13.5 — increase responsiveness, tighter turning radius
• 14.5 — balance between responsiveness and stability
• 15.5 — maximum roll and pitch stability

Shim settings:
• 0 to +0.5 — maximum efficiency
• +0.5 to +1 — more roll-friendly, surf-like feel
• −0.25 to −0.5 — big waves / high speeds
