Loose through the turn. Locked on exit.

Speed Up Your Foil

The Afterburner's ultra-thin, low-drag profile adds top-end speed to any wing it's paired with. It tightens the turning radius, reduces drag, and lets your front wing breathe at higher speeds. If your foil feels sluggish or over-stabilized, the Afterburner is the fix.

Afterburner Tail Profile

Down-curved. High-aspect. Precision-built.

Carving Control Without the Drag

The down-curved shape enhances roll and carving control — you feel the tail engage through every direction change. But it never drags. The high-aspect profile keeps efficiency high through pumps, glides, and transitions. Shockingly stiff for how thin it is, thanks to high-modulus carbon construction.

Afterburner Tail Curve Detail

Surf it. Run it downwind.

Two Sizes. Dial Your Setup.

The 14.5" pairs with larger wings (150cm+ span) — it tightens the turn and strips drag. The 15.5" pairs with smaller wings (under 150cm) — it adds stability and hold without losing speed. Think of your tail like a surfboard fin — it's the cheapest, easiest way to completely change how your setup feels.

Great speed and pivot

I’ve paired it with the evo155 and evo135 and short fuse so far. I was using the pro13.5 tail before. It feels more slippery, less stable and faster. I had to shim it +1.5 to be able to pump it without overpowering it. I weigh 195Lbs+. It’s exactly what I wanted it to be. The glide is better with less drag, it’s more efficient, faster and it turns great but may not feel as locked in as the pro13.5 tail. I’m in Florida and it’s summer so we don’t have any good waves or DW conditions for a true trial yet. I think it’ll be my go to tail for DW with the evos but I may still prefer the pro13.5 for pocket surfing with my progression foils and smaller evos.
