UniFoil Shipping Policy

At UniFoil, we’re committed to delivering premium hydrofoils and gear worldwide — quickly, safely, and with full transparency about shipping, taxes, and import responsibilities.

United States Shipping

All U.S. orders are fulfilled from our Huntington Beach, California warehouse, serving all 50 states including Hawaii. Processing Time: 2–3 business days Transit Time: 2–7 business days depending on destination Carriers: UPS, FedEx, and USPS

Tariffs, Customs, and Duties

All retail prices shown on www.uni-foil.com for U.S. customers are final and inclusive of all applicable tariffs, import duties, and customs fees. This means you will not be charged any additional customs, import, or brokerage fees upon delivery — the price displayed at checkout is the total amount you pay (plus shipping if applicable). UniFoil absorbs all import-related costs for goods entering our U.S. warehouse and ensures a smooth, duty-free delivery experience for all U.S.-based customers.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and delivery address. Free-shipping promotions apply to U.S. domestic orders unless otherwise noted.

Canada Shipping

Canadian customers may choose where their order ships from:

1) Ship from the USA (Huntington Beach, CA)

- Faster delivery (typically 5–10 business days) - Import duties, GST, and brokerage fees may apply upon delivery - Duties may be reduced on U.S.-origin goods under the USMCA trade agreement

2) Ship from China (Factory Warehouse)

- May offer lower product or freight cost on large orders - Import duties and GST are generally higher for goods shipped from China - Transit time 7–14 business days depending on customs clearance

All Canadian orders are shipped DAP (Delivered At Place) — meaning import duties, GST/HST, and brokerage fees are the customer’s responsibility and will be collected by the courier before delivery. We encourage customers to research Canada’s import rates and select the shipping origin that best fits their situation.

Assumptions: Duty base = item value; Taxes apply to (item value + duty); Brokerage fee = $15 flat. US origin = 0% duty (USMCA); China origin = 6% duty (illustrative). Provincial tax examples for AB (5%), BC (12%), ON (13%), QC (~14.975%).

International Shipping (Outside the USA & Canada)

For all other international destinations — including the UK, EU, Australia, and other regions — orders are fulfilled from our China warehouse.

Taxes, VAT, and Import Duties

All international shipments are sent DAP (Delivered At Place). Local import taxes, VAT/GST, and customs fees are payable by the customer at the time of delivery. UniFoil does not collect or remit VAT/GST at checkout for international orders. The courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS) will contact customers directly to arrange payment before delivery.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing tracking details. Tracking updates may take 24–48 hours to appear after dispatch.

Refused, Undeliverable, or Delayed Shipments

If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to unpaid import taxes, incorrect delivery information, or customs-related issues, the order will not be refunded — including the product cost, shipping fees, and any return or handling charges incurred.

Customers are responsible for:

- Providing accurate shipping and delivery information at checkout

- Tracking their shipment using the link provided once dispatched

- Contacting the shipping carrier directly (FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS, etc.) for delivery delays, customs holds, or address corrections

Once a shipment leaves our warehouse, UniFoil cannot modify delivery routes or intervene with customs or courier processes on the customer’s behalf.
